One of the highlights from all of our trips to Walt Disney World was the tour we took back in 2010.
We chose Keys to the Kingdom, which is a 4.5 – 5 hour walking tour highlighting the history and growth of Magic Kingdom. You are taken into several backstage areas including the Utilidors, which are the service tunnels cast members use (super cool). You learn all kinds of interesting facts, like what the sayings in the windows of Main Street mean and how Walt Disney’s legacy is still alive today. Lunch at Columbia Harbor House is included in the price of the tour, which made us very happy (it’s one of our favs). We also LOVED our guide…she was knowledgeable and fun!
I highly recommend trying a tour. There are several to choose from, so you can find one that suits your family. They can cost anywhere from $30 per person and up, so it’s something you’ll need to budget for…but worth every penny!
