Here’s an easy scenario for beginners this week at CVS. These transactions are for those with zero ECBs in hand. If you are holding ECBs from a previous deal, your oop will be less. You’ll need to do four transactions. You can do them back to back, but I suggest letting the people behind you go before doing another ~
Transaction #1
- Buy 1 – Thermacare Heat Wrap $3.79
- Use 1 – $1/1 Advil, Advil PM, Children’s Advil or Thermacare, exp. 3/31/12 (RP 01/29/12 #2)
- Pay: $2.79
- Get a $3.79 ECB
Transaction #2
- Buy 3 – Colgate Sensitive Pro Relief Toothpaste (4-oz) or Toothbrush $4.99
- Use 1 – $0.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste, exp. 3/17/12 (SS 02/26/12 R)
- or $0.75/1 Colgate Optic White, Total Advanced or Sensitive Pro-Relief, exp. 3/3/12 (SS 02/12/12 R) - Use $3.79 ECB from first transaction
- Pay: $0.45 + tax
- Get a $4 ECB
- * If you have the $1/1 coupon from the CVS reinventing Beauty Magazine, your oop will only be $0.20 + tax
Transaction #3
- Buy 1 – Schick Hydro 3 or 5 Razor $8.49
- Use 1 – $2/1 Schick Hydro Razor, exp. 4/8/12 (SS 02/26/12)
- Use $4 ECB from second transaction
- Pay: $2.49
- Get a $4 ECB
Transaction #4
- Buy 1 – Bausch & Lomb Soothe 0.5 – 28 ct $8.99
- Use 1 – $4/1 Bausch+Lomb Soothe Dry Eye Product, exp. 3/31/12 (SS 01/22/12) or in the (SS 02/26/12) exp. 4/30/12
- Use $4 ECB from third transaction
- Pay: $0.99 + tax
- Get a $1 ECB
Total Spent = $6.72 + tax
Total Saved = $19.54
Total ECBs remaining = $1.00
