He is home now and tentatively scheduled for surgery Friday. We see the doctor again this morning. I was VERY impressed with how quickly the marines got him out of country. He was pretty stoked because they flew him home first class! It was a direct flight from Dubai to Atlanta and he was able to stretch out and be comfortable the whole time. With the pain he was in, I couldn’t imagine having to sit in one of the little airplane seats.
For all who have asked, I am doing ok. A little frazzled, but ok. Just glad to have him home safe and now I can take care of him. Thank-you for the continued support! It means to much to both of us. When I read all the emails and comments to my husband, he couldn’t believe it. Sometimes I don’t think he really knows what I do LOL – But after reading all of them, he understands why my readers are like my extended family. Will update again soon..off to the doctor!

So glad things seem to be going good.
Oh wow, I just read the back story. I can’t imagine how you must feel having your husband so far away from you. You are very brave. And so is he, of course. Being so far apart must have been difficult for both of you.
